Brings glass back to its 'as-new’ appearance
Retains the 'as-new’ appearance of glass
ClearShield is applied in the factory onto new glass prior to installation to minimise surface damage during construction. Alternatively, for glass already installed, ClearShield can be applied onsite.
The build-up of contaminants on unprotected glass causes many problems and will chemically bond, corrode and etch the surface.
- During construction, e.g. splatter from concrete, plaster and mortar, cement dust and other construction materials
- Contamination from the environment, e.g. concrete and silicone run-off, traffic fumes, tree sap and bird droppings
- Interior glass contamination, e.g. greasy, dirty deposits, moisture vapour and hard water deposits
This leads to difficult maintenance, poor visibility, reduced light transmission and a spoiled appearance. Contaminants can be impossible to remove using conventional cleaning methods. The use of harsh chemicals can do more harm to the glass surface than good.
With the ClearShield System, Ritec-trained specialists remove contamination – both organic and inorganic – from the glass surface when regular cleaning is no longer effective, without the need for harsh chemicals. Renovation is the unique and ideal solution for exterior and interior glass surfaces that have been heavily contaminated and stained when all else fails.
Immediately after renovation, the glass surface is sealed and protected by ClearShield. ClearShield gives glass Low-M (Low-Maintenance) properties.
- Always easier to clean
- Stays cleaner for longer
- Resists staining and discolouration
Ritec-trained specialist applicators can treat virtually all glass on any size or scale.
